I don’t know about you, but I have spent the past few months playing all kinds of games in my living room, dining room, and kitchen. While I was playing games in my living room when my youngest daughter was born, I felt I needed to be more present. A game can be a way to have more “self-awareness” in a stressful situation.
I’m not a gamer. I don’t have the money for one, and I don’t have the time. I don’t know why I even play games. I don’t even have a PlayStation 4. I want to be in the habit of seeing people who play games on Facebook.
I don’t buy games often. I don’t want games to become a necessity. I want games to remain fun. So, I play a lot of bad games. I play games in my room. I play games in the basement. I play games with my friends at work. I play games on my phone. I play games on my computer. I play games with my dog. I play games while I take a bathroom break. I play games while I wait for dinner.
Games, I like games. I like games with fun. I like games that are not just one-trick-pony shooters. I like games that make you forget you could be killing zombies for real the next day. I like games that make you feel like you could be sitting in a library on some random day and a group of people would be sitting around talking about different things.
I don’t know why I mention this, but every time I think of the best games of 2014, it’s Deathstorm. It’s been a year since the last time I played it and I am still blown away by the game’s story, the characters, the setting, and the ability to turn the game into a very real, very intense, and very brutal multiplayer party game.
I can’t think of a better way to spend a Monday. As a reviewer, I was just as excited for games of this genre as I was for Deathstorm. I was especially impressed with the fact that the game was able to be so open-ended in terms of what you could do, and yet still be so very, very polished, with a ton of customization options. I think this is what makes it so great. I also think that this is a really good idea.
In fact, I think that this game is going to be so good, so open-ended, and so polished that it will almost make other games look like pucks, in terms of how good they are. If you’re a gamer, I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised by the fact that Deathstorm is one of the best, most open-ended, most beautifully crafted games of 2014.
Deathstorm is a game about being a party animal, and being a party animal is a really cool thing to be. The game is very different from your typical party game, and while you don’t need to be a party animal to play it, it does have a certain amount of depth. You won’t be playing it with a bunch of friends or even a bunch of strangers.
I think it is important to note that Deathstorm is a game that can be played solo. That is, you can play it without any friends or even strangers. By that I mean you can play the game solo, but you should be sure to have someone you trust playing it with you if it is going to be a party. It is actually very easy to play Deathstorm solo, but the game has a lot of replay value.
