It’s a word I have used a lot in the past, but is really only a name.
“Beta” is a popular name for a game, but the term “beta” in this context is really a kind of pretentious way to describe what is a very normal, extremely basic game. Minecraft is in fact an incredibly simple game that has many of the same simple things that most games have, like a world, a map, blocks, and a crafting system.
