You download the app and load it into your phone. After a brief intro screen you begin your quest to find a particular item in a virtual space that has been placed in your inventory. You will then be taken to a virtual space in your phone where you will need to choose one of two ways to complete the quest.
The first way is to start a timer and make a quick decision: either press the button to jump to a level or press the button to perform a certain action. The second way is to press the button to perform a different action. That way you can continue the action you just completed or go back to the first level.
The game itself is a lot like the first Half-Life game (it’s called HD 2D). Players will need to complete a series of mini-quests before you can access the main story on the main map. It’s a little reminiscent of the original game because you’ll run into the same enemies and run into the same rooms. The quests themselves are very simple but it’s still a pretty unique story.
Its not a game like HL2 because it is quite a bit shorter. That being said, there are some really cool things in this game. One of the coolest things I saw was a new character, called “The Great One”, who fights against you. With his ultimate weapon, the Great One will kill you if you don’t pay the price of getting a head shot. I was extremely surprised that he was not a ghost type of character, but instead a human person.

I guess you could argue that it’s just a shame that the graphics are 2D sprites. But I guess you could also say that by keeping it 2D, it makes it easier to play. It’s true that 2D sprite graphics are not for everyone, but I’m sure that there are people out there who do not enjoy the 2D style of games. I guess that’s why we have 3D.
