Yeah, I’m always impressed by the reaction of the football players and the crowd when they see their team play on TV (or on a game show like Super Bowls). But in real life, they’re probably wondering how they ever came to play in the first place. I bet they wouldn’t expect to see their team play by themselves in a stadium full of people (and you know the team they’re playing with).
At times, it seems like many people have this “it must be the way we dress or theyre not allowed to play” mentality. Ive been to many of the biggest sporting events in the last 50 years, and the way they dress is the same regardless of the size of the stadium or the game. Football games are played in stadiums that can hold around 50,000 people, so it is very unlikely that a few thousand people wearing matching shirts would cause a problem.
So the next time you get a ticket to a game, you might want to wear a super bowl team jersey to make sure you dont get ticketed for a non-event. You might be right, but it sure is fun to play in a stadium with no other fans, and that is the case in the stadium I am in right now.
