I have been told by some that the county board of education is a very scary place to work. They do not have a lot of respect for teachers or even teachers’ unions, and they are very aggressive and pushy.
Like anything, people react to the actions of others in different ways. This is particularly evident in a board of education. Like most local governments, the walker county board of education has a lot of power in the county because it’s a self-contained town. They own their own buildings and the schools are run by the teachers in those buildings. This is great because it means there are no politics to worry about.
In a town of this size, there is no real way for anyone to control the board of education, so the school is run by the teachers and the teachers are very, very aggressive. In fact one of the reasons the board of education is so powerful is that it is run by a board of teachers. But, more importantly, they are incredibly bad.
Yes, the board of education is bad, but the teachers are actually worse. They’re the ones who’d get to determine the curriculum and test children. The teachers decide who gets to teach what and what kind of education that will be, and who gets to test your children. Basically, they’re the ones who decide what your kids will learn in school. That’s right, teachers decide on what your children learn in school.
What makes this even worse is that they choose your children. They decide which of your kids will be allowed to learn the curriculum, and which ones will be sent to the special education center. Then they decide which teacher is allowed to test your children. Then they decide which school your children are allowed to go to.
The biggest problem with this is that you can be legally coerced into sending your children to a poor school. Even if you do everything you can to defend your child, the local district is still going to send your children there. This is a huge problem because for all their faults, districts are generally very good about giving children a decent education. The problem is that they’re also huge corporations.
This is exactly the sort of thing that the county board of education needs to fix. They should have gotten rid of all the private schools and just gotten rid of the government in favor of private schools. However, they seem to be going down the path of trying to give students a second chance at a decent education by letting them get a failing grade and then punishing their parents for sending their children to that school.
So what we need is a little bit of a push from these corporations, and I think that this is what the board of education is looking for. Because the government gets money from corporations to support their government employees, this means that the government has to compensate the education companies at the same rate that the private education companies get compensation. There is a lot of inequality between these two industries because the government has to support two industries that are doing pretty damn good.
It’s a nice way to look at it. Private education companies get a cut of government money (through the school choice program), but the government doesn’t get the cut of the difference. Government gets all the money because its a monopoly, so for them to be on the same level it’s the same as if the private companies were on the same level.
I’m all for increasing competition and reducing government’s role in education. But this is only one of the ways to do it. In fact, the government will be increasing its role in education to the point where it can no longer have the monopoly position it once had. This is because the government needs to spend a lot more money on public education.
