Because this is a war game, it is important that we start playing at a time that is appropriate for our level of awareness. We do not want to be playing when war is underway, and we don’t want our children playing when they are at war.
This is why, for example, the World War II begins at night, and the War Games begin at sunrise. War Games begins at sunset/daylight as well, but the War Games is the time to play and the War Games is the time of war, so it is important that the start time is appropriate for the level of awareness.
In the War Games, the players assume control of a large portion of the world, and in the War Games players are at war with each other. In the War Games, the players try to win and, more importantly, understand the rules by which they win. In the War Games, the players play with their fellow players, and the players play with each other.

One of the things that makes this game so fun is how the developers have made the controls so simple. Everything from the first level to the last level has been made to look simple and straightforward. I love how in every other video game that I have played, my fingers seem to have a mind of their own. They always want to take the gun and aim it at something. Well, in Deathloop you can literally just point your finger and fire it out of the other side of the screen.
I hope that Deathloop is as accessible to the casual fan as it is to the hardcore player, because I think the casual player will enjoy it the most. It’s not as easy as it looks, but the challenge will be just as rewarding.
