My family has been playing zombie games at home for a while now, but none of them have been of any interest to anyone other than me.
Well, one of the reasons I’m not that interested in zombie games is because I’m a big fan of zombie movies, but the games are really great, and after playing a few of them, I can’t not recommend them. Even if you’re not into the zombie genre, you might still want to check out these games.
Let me start by saying, I dont really follow the TV zombie genre very closely. I know there are a million TV shows out there, but I have yet to see one that was exactly what I wanted. But the games are pretty cool, and I would say theyre the best ones out there.
The best I can think of at the moment is the excellent horror game, Dead by Daylight. The good news is that the game is free, and it even has a special zombie theme that you can unlock through playing. The bad news is that the zombies haven’t really been much of a threat in the past, and as you play through the game, you start to understand why.
A good game, a good genre, and a free game are all things I’ve heard over and over again. But what I’ve never seen is a good zombie game. I should probably get on that.
In the past Ive enjoyed the horror genre quite a bit. Ive played games like Alone in the Dark, Dead Rising 2, and a great number of others. But I find that the zombies in those games are far more cartoonish and cartoonish is far better, not only in terms of entertainment, but also in terms of the “life is worth living” message.
